MandleAcid 2.0 © 1994 Concept and Programming by Derek Greenberg Artwork and Design by Adam Gates Requirements: MacIntosh CPU with 68020 or better running System 7.0 or better with 256 color capability . Works on any 12" or larger color monitor. It's 32 -bit clean. Overview: MandleAcid 2.0 is a texture generator and animator that uses pre-calculated fractal images as a starting point. It was written for anyone who: (A) Gets nervous or upset when trying to read the words of Benoit Mandelbrot, (B) Has a relatively slow computer (like mine) without an FPU, (C) Enjoys bizarre interfaces. To use MandleAcid, simply choose a combination of pre-made images, rotate one of them, and select a rendering mode. Push the "render" button and watch the image pop onto your screen in a deluge of lurid, animating colors.
